<h1>Lloyd Byers</h1> 1929 - 2006 Passed away suddenly , at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Wednesday November 8th 2006 at the age of 77. Lloyd was born in Tara Ontario. He was a member of Canada’s Merchant Navy during the 2nd World War. Lloyd was also an owner/operator with United Taxi for over 30 years and an owner/operator with Day &amp; Ross Trucking for many years. Beloved husband of Georgina (Jean); loving father of David and Joanne Byers, Steve and Lea Byers, Pat and Deb Hanley, and Donald and Linda Allen, all of Kitchener, and son-in-law, David Jolliffe of Orleans, On. Proud grandfather of Albert Byers of Vancouver, Brent and Shelly Byers of Thunder Bay, Janine and Darryl Fisler, Tiffany Byers, and Bobby and Jessica Byers, all of Kitchener, Phillip Jolliffe of Toronto, Kerri Jolliffe, and Sean and Nancy Jolliffe all of Orleans. Great-grandfather of Anthony, Nicole, Ryan and Rowen. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Hazel Byers; daughter, Judith (Judy) Jolliffe; brother, Ken Byers and his wife Irene; sister, Doris Teschke and her husband Ed; sisters Verna McLean and Mary Byers. Family and friends are invited to share their memories of Lloyd during visitation with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Saturday November 11th from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Sunday November 12th between 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 13th, 2006 at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Koellner officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
