<h1>Don Sanders</h1> 1925 - 2010 Donald W.M. Sanders passed away peacefully in his sleep, November 5, 2010, embraced by the love of God after a battle with Lupus for 30 years. Beloved husband of Winifred for 59 years. Dear father of Douglas (Donna) Sanders, Dowling ON, Paul (Deborah) Victoria BC, Neil Sanders, Kitchener, loving grandfather to Christa Sanders, Craig (Eva) Sanders and great-grandpa to Sienna Lilley Sanders. Brother of Bruce Sanders (Marianne), brother-in-law of Kathleen Sanders, Beverly Sanders, Ernest Walker (Helen), Barbara Martin, Margaret Martin and Grace E. Martin. Also loved by many nieces and nephews. Don was a veteran of the Second World War with the Queen’s Own Rifle of Canada, Perth Regiment. He was active in the Horticultural Society and loved flower arranging for many weddings. A volunteer driver for Seniors for Habitat for Humanity. He loved working for the church and loved to cook…his specialty was Black Forest Cake. Predeceased by parents Arthur and Lura Sanders, brothers Harold Sanders and Earl Sanders, sister Hazel and her husband Glen Shantz and sister Joyce Walker. Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, November 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Don’s life and faith will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 50 Erb Street West, Waterloo on Wednesday, November 10 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service in the fellowship hall of the church and interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery following the reception.
