<h1>Bernadine "Pearl" Barron</h1> January 2, 1923 – November 5, 2009 In her 87th year, Bernadine passed away with family at her side, after a lengthy illness at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Barron whom she married on June 19, 1945. Loving mom of Ronald Barron (Marlene) of Kitchener, Rosalie Hollohan (George Eaton) of Woodstock, Peter Barron (Sharon) of Kitchener, Diane Kelleher (Basil) of Kitchener, Bernice Dopp (Christopher Tremble) of Kitchener, and Dawn Ahamed (Farouk) of Oakville; grandma of Jeff Barron (Pam Weber) and Colleen Barron, John and Samantha Barron, Adam Dopp (Shannon Bernier) and Laura Dopp (Andrew Godfrey), Faisal and Alisha-Marie Ahamed, Ashley and Ryan Kelleher; and great-grandma to Skyler, Alexander, and Haley Dopp and Hunter Marie Dopp. Survived by her brother, Richard Ryan (Winnie) of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her parents, James and Agnes (Doyle) Ryan; and her brothers and sisters, Harold Ryan, Angela Quinn, Alice Earle, Kathleen Hannon, Francis Ryan, and Raymond Ryan. For the past year and a half, Bernadine had made her home at the Village of Winston Park where she enjoyed participating in many activities and events. A special thank you is extended to the staff of Winston Park, the staff on the 5th floor of Grand River Hospital, and Dr. Rosenstein. Another special thank you to the staff of the Dialysis Unit at Grand River Hospital who made time spent there more comfortable. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Bernadine during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, November 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 9, 2009 at 1 p.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A reception will follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room.
