<h1>Nellie Chalmers</h1> 1900 – 2009 Passed away peacefully at Nithview Home, New Hamburg on Thursday November 5, 2009, in her 110th year. Born in North Easthope Township, Perth County. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Fleming; parents Alexander and Margaret MacMillan and brothers Guy, Hugh, Adam, John and Warnock. Surviving are her loving family. Daughter Peggy (Crerar Robertson); son Jim (Isobel); six grandchildren, Janet Woolfrey (Bill), Catherine Robertson (Marcus Kramer), Jamie Robertson (Francine), Bruce Chalmers (Louise Peters), Jane Barratt (Greg), Iain Chalmers (Elizabeth) and sixteen great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday November 8, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service of remembrance will be held at 11 am. on Monday November 9, in the chapel of the Funeral Home. A reception will be held immediately following the service in the funeral home’s Fireside Reception Room. Interment at Hampstead Cemetery Nellie’s family expresses its sincere gratitude to the staff for their love, care and compassion during Nellie’s 15 years at Nithview Home.
