Passed away, surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer, on November 30, 2009 at the age of 68.
Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Ruth, his loving children, Chris (Janet Martin), Todd (Corey Kimpson), Jeff (Andrea McAuley) and Matt, as well as his beloved grandchildren Lauryn, Finley, Jacob and Carson. He will also be remembered by his brothers John (Nevenka) Ancich of Kitchener, Fred (Marian) Ancich of Guelph and two brothers and three sisters in Croatia, as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law Ed (Carol) Kieswetter, Marianne Kieswetter all of Elmira, Ken (Carol) Kieswetter of New Hamburg, Jim (Karen) Kieswetter of Winterbourne, Janet (Jim) Stockie of Port Elgin, Murray (Cheryl) Kieswetter of Waterloo, Linda (Dennis) Cassel of Fordwich as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by one brother Dusan, brothers-in-law Tom and Claire Kieswetter and sister-in-law Shirley Lefebrve.
Peter worked at Budd Canada for 30 years until his retirement and was an active parishioner of St. Agnes RC Parish, Waterloo.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Peter with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held Thursday at 3:45 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale Street N., Waterloo on Friday, December 4 at 10:00 am with the Rev. Piotr Machnacki S.A.C. as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
