Obituary of Morgan Rev.Frank Morgan

<h1>Rev. Dr. Frank Morgan</h1> B.A., (McGill) MDiv, D.D.(UTC) 1913 – 2006 Frank died peacefully, at his home in Kitchener, after a long and active life sustained by the love of his family and his God. He was 92. Frank was the beloved husband of Margaret Helen Burgess for 64 wonderful years. Much loved by his family, Diane (Brantford), Susan and Alan Sears (Birmingham Al.), Sarah and Hakan Egeli (Alexandria Va.), Katherine, Todd and Samantha Pitts (Ringgold Ga.). He was predeceased by his brothers, Maurice and Cyril; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mary and Charles McGuire. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Audrey Morgan (Ottawa), Betty Burgess (Ottawa), Jean Morgan (Toronto) and many nieces and nephews. Frank served three pastorates in Saskatchewan, MacKay United Church, Ottawa and Trinity United Church, Kitchener, from where he retired in 1979. He served on many provincial and national boards of the United Church of Canada. He was active in each community where he lived. In Kitchener Waterloo, he served as Chair of the Kitchener Market Committee, was a founding member of the Interfaith Counselling Centre and wrote a regular weekly column in the Faith Section of The Record, titled Viewpoint. Friends are invite to share their memories of Frank with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Frank’s life and faith will be held at Trinity United Church, 74 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, 11 a.m. with Rev. Jack Paleczny officiating. Following cremation, interment will take place in the family plot at Pinecrest Cemetery, Ottawa at a later date.
