<h1>Maria Oliveira</h1> 1936 - 2006 Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Wednesday November 29, 2006 at the age of 70. Loving mother of Dena and her husband Ed Moitoso of North Dumfries and Ines and her husband Antonio Amaral of Cambridge. The best grandmother ever to Victor and Steven Amaral and Mark and Marcia Moitoso. Maria and her husband Mario could never be apart for too long. Just five weeks after Mario died, she has gone to be reunited with him in their new paradise. She is also embraced by her parents, her sister Augusta, brother Francisco and her precious grand-daughter Melanie. Maria was the definition of love and kindness. Known for her excellent cooking, traditions, and love of family, Maria sprinkled love wherever she went. All who knew her had the pleasure of sampling her marvelous cuisine. She believed strongly in the traditions that connected us to the past and taught us how to carry them to the future. Maria adored her family and she was adored back. During these last three years she also taught us the meaning of bravery and inner beauty. Her legacy will live on as a remarkably strong, beautiful and loving person. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Maria with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where prayers will be recited at 8:30 p.m. with Father G. Catarino. The Mass of Christian Burial, in celebration of Maria’s life will be held at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 185 Elgin Street South, Cambridge on Saturday December 2, 2006 at 12 noon with Father A. Cunha as celebrant. Interment will follow in Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener.
