Obituary of John Martin

<h1>John "Jack" Martin</h1> 1923 – 2007 John passed away, peacefully, in the presence of family members, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, in his 85th year. Cherished husband of Eldene for 57 years. Exceptional father of John Taylor (Jack) Martin of Hong Kong, Carolyn Martin of Waterloo, Ken and Sally Martin of Cambridge, Doug Martin, Shannon Martin of Florida. Proud grandpa of Kim (Michael), John, Tami, Melanie, Tyler, Jennifer, Kirsten, Rachel, Michelle, Shelley and great-grandpa of Natalie. Predeceased by his twin brother, Jim Martin in 2001. A memorial service will be held at Kitchener East Presbyterian Church, 10 Zeller Drive, Kitchener (off Lackner Blvd.) on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Arthritis Society, or a charity of your choice.
