<h1>Gertrude Jacky</h1> 1918- 2007 Gertrude passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Monday, November 26, 2007. She was born in North Easthope Township 89 years ago. She was the wife of the late Norman Theodore Jacky who predeceased her January 25, 1999. They farmed near St. Agatha for 61 years and were members of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Agatha. Gertrude loved pets. Lovingly remembered by sister Alice Knipfel of Sudbury; brother Wilfred (Reta) of New Hamburg; sisters-in-law Marie Kneisel of Wellesley, Margaret Kneisel of New Hamburg and brother-in-law Lloyd (Eileen) Jacky of Kitchener; Godchildren Elaine Porter, Audrey Schultz, Ruth Wassing and Brian Kneisel. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Frederick Kneisel and Louisa Foerster; sister Dorothy Lantz and her husband Armond; brothers Walter, Harvey and a brother in infancy; sisters and brothers-in-law Edna (Clarence) Roth, Elmina (Jack) Heimpel, Sylvester (Luella) Jacky and Vera Jacky. Friends are invited to share their memories of Gertrude with her family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate her life and faith will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 11 am with Rev. Patricia Jackson officiating. Following the funeral service, friends and relatives are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral for refreshments and a time to visit with the family. The committal service will be held at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in St .Agatha on Friday at 1:30 pm.
