<h1>Earl "Lee" Hoppe</h1> 1931 – 2009 Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Lanark Heights, Kitchener, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Marjorie Hoppe (nee Hahn) of Kitchener. Loved father of Jeff and his wife Andraya of Tavistock, and Mark of Calgary. Dear brother of Don Hoppe of Digby, Nova Scotia, Jerry (Joyce) Hoppe of London, and Yvonne Hoppe of Waterloo. He is lovingly remembered by his four grandsons. Predeceased by his parents Earl Hoppe and Amanda (nee Riehl). He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, the Lions Club and coached minor hockey. Lee was active in Real Estate in the K-W area for more than 40 years. He began his career in 1958 with Bollert and Caton Real Estate. By 1961 he had become a broker and founded E.L. Hoppe Agencies Ltd. He was a Director of the K-W Real Estate Board for nine years, served as President in 1970 and was the recipient of the Claude E. Dubrick Realtor Merit Award. He was also President of the OREA Board and was Chairman of the education committee for two years. Lee will be fondly remembered by all that knew him. Friends are invited to share their memories of Lee with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Waterloo, on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 11 a.m., the Rev. James Brown officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
