<h1>Anita Marciniak</h1> 1921 – 2007 Passed away peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family, at the Grand River Hospital, on Thursday November 22, 2007 at the age of 86 years. Born on August 6, 1921 in St. Polycarpe, Quebec she was the daughter of the late Raoul and Marie Anne (Brouillard) Giroux. A devout Catholic, she was a member of St. Agnes Parish, the St. Agnes CWL, the Royal Canadian Legion Waterloo Branch 530 and the Ladies Auxiliary. During the Second World War she was a member of the Royal Canadian Airforce stationed out of Hamilton, Ontario. Cherished and loving mother and mother-in-law of Cheryl (Ken) Woelfle and Sheila Marciniak, all of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Jason and Ambreen Marciniak, and Lindsay Woelfle, Waterloo and Kyle Woelfle and friend Cheryl Feeney of Calgary. Dear sister to Catherine (George) Lamothe, Windsor, Rose of Ottawa, Bob of California and Pierre of Quebec. Fondly remembered by her godchildren, Denise Lamothe of Windsor and Norman Giroux of Brockville. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, George (1986), a son, Richard in infancy, son Gary (2004); grandson, Sean Woelfle (1984), grandson Todd Marciniak (2007) and by brothers, Laurent, Arthur, Andre, Leon, Nelson and sisters, Joan, Marguerite and Rita. Anita was a great friend and inspiration to all who knew her. Her door was always opened and everyone was welcomed. She judged no one and treated everyone with a kind and loving heart. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren and always supported them in any of their endeavors. We are truly grateful and proud to have had such a wonderful and caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Visitation will take place at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Thursday, November 29, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where Parish Rosary will take place at 8:15 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2007 at St. Agnes Parish, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo. Cremation and private family interment at Woodland Cemetery at a later date. A reception will take place following the Mass, location to be announced at the service. As expressions of sympathy donations to Toronto General and Western Hospital Foundation for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Research would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Anita, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
