<h1>Lloyd Neeb</h1> 1925 – 2009 Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Pinehaven Nursing Home at the age of 84. Loving husband of Ruth (nee Umbach) for 60 years; devoted father of Brenda Ward, Gary (Diane) Neeb and Michael (Andrea) Neeb; cherished grandfather of Barry Ward (Daina), John Paul Ward, Jeff (Erin) Neeb, Justin Neeb, Wynne (Simon) Elmitt, Zakk Morrision, Nick (Teneal) Morrison, Melanie (Mike) Holmes and Michael Neeb; great-grandfather of Wacey and Ava. Also survived by his brothers, Harold (Wilma) Neeb, Willard (Velma) Neeb, Ken Neeb, Wayne (Naomi) Neeb and Len (Louise) Neeb; sister, Isabell (Jack) Atkinson; and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arthur Neeb and Marie (nee Kaufmann) and by his son-in-law, Clarke Ward. “Life is too short” was one of Lloyd’s favorite sayings, he believed in working hard and enjoying life to its fullest, making the most of each day. Lloyd’s greatest pleasures came from being with his family, tending to his large vegetable garden, enjoying the sun and friends at Carson’s Camp at Sauble Beach and being with the love of his life, Ruth. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Pinehaven Nursing Home for the special care they gave to Lloyd during his stay. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, November 24 from 7-9 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday, November 25 from 10-10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m. Reception to immediately follow the service. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau for those who wish to attend.
