<h1>Katherine McDermott</h1> Passed away peacefully, on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Lanark Heights, Kitchener, at the age 95. Aunt Kay is survived by her 14 nieces and nephews, and her cherished friend Margaret Roth. Kay was the youngest of five children born to Albert and Katherine McDermott of Ingersoll. She was predeceased by her brothers; Albert, Eugene, and Dr. James, and by sister Florence McKittrick. She spent many years as the head of the French Department at Dominion Life, and was a devoted Parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church. Friends are invited to share their memories of Kay with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, November 24, from 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St., Waterloo, on Tuesday November 25, at 11 a.m. the Rev. Edward Sheridan as Celebrant. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ingersoll, will follow at a later date.
