Obituary of George Heppler

<h1>George Heppler</h1> 1921 – 2008 Passed away peacefully at Trinity Village Care Centre, on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at the age of 87 years. Born in Brownsville, Ontario and raised in Hamilton, George served in the RCAF during the Second World War. Thereafter he earned a degree in commerce from McMaster University and enjoyed a successful thirty-seven year career as a Chartered Accountant with Canadian Standards Association. George will be greatly missed by Patricia, his wife of 55 years; his sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn (Barbara) and David (Barbara); and his hopes for the future, his six grandchildren, Karen, Sarah, Theresa, Keith, Matthew and Spencer; all of whom he spoke of often and with pride. He died quietly in his sleep, without pain or distress, and with the knowledge he was loved. Friends are invited to share their memories of George with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Cremation and a private family interment will follow at a later date.
