<h1>Bill Gamble</h1> JOSEPH WILSON 1934 – 2007 Passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of his family on November 20, 2007 at the age of 73. Loving husband and best friend for 46 years to Alexandra “Sandy” (nee Rankine). Devoted dad of Jennifer Poole (David) and Stephanie Gamble (Richard Zamperoni). Cherished grandpa of Alexandra and Shannon Poole and Kristen and Ryan Zamperoni. Survived by his sister Colleen Blueman (Ron) and sisters-in-law, Maureen Rankine and Mary Strand (Jim). Predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth Gamble. Bill was a teacher for many years at Waterloo Collegiate Institute, Preston High School and eventually retired from Grand River Collegiate Institute. He was a great handy man. He built a second home in Wiarton and often used his talents and abilities to help family and friends. Bill enjoyed music and in his youth was a member of the Preston Scout House Band. He was a longtime member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and served as an elder there for over 30 years. His positive outlook, sense of humour and gentle nature will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends are invited to share their memories of Bill with his family during memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, November 22, from 3-6 p.m. The memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, November 23, 2007 at 11:30 a.m., the Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place.
