Passed away, as a result of a heart attack, at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Thursday morning, All Souls Day, November 2, 2006 at the age of 82 years.
Len will be missed by his beloved wife of 61 years, Pauline, his children, Jerry and Diane of Calgary, Blair and Bonnie of Kitchener, Caroline and David Hennig, Marie and Peter Devine all of Mississauga, Christine and Brian Nowak of Woodstock, Marc and Linda of Edmonton, Annabel and Donald MacDonald of Waterloo, and Clement and Subi Rajendra of North Carolina. Granddads legacy will live on in his grandchildren, Jay and Marci, Tyler and Laura, Danica and Darrell, Erin, Elizabeth, Roy, Marie and Sean, Theresa and Dave, Peter, Craig, Scott and Amy, Brad, Rory, Kevin, Marc, Claire, Sara, Tisha and Neela, and his great-granddaughters, Zoë and Avery. Len is also survived by his sister Elaine Trumble and his brother Ray and his wife Chris.
Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Ida Quinn, his sisters, Rita Moore, Theresa Gauthier, Lorraine Landolt.
Len was a Naval Veteran of the Second World War. His career started with Bell Telephone in North Bay, and followed a successful career with Mutual Life retiring as The Director of Agencies after 35 years of service. Throughout the years, Len was active in many organizations including, The Knights of Columbus as a Fourth Degree Knight and the Retired Knights, Rotary, Probus, and the Westmount Golf and Country Club. Len was also a proud member of the R.O.M.E.O.s.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Len with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, November 3, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale Street North, Waterloo on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
