<h1>Roy Ruby</h1> ROY RUBY 1920 - 2006 Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 2, 2006. Born in Tavistock on August 8, 1920, he was the son of the late Christian and Annie (Brenneman) Ruby. Loving husband for 56 years of Margaret (Gerber); devoted father of Peggy and her husband Wilbur Roth, Grant and his wife Paulette (Partito), and Nancy and her husband Rick Martin; proud and loving grandpa to Melissa and Jeremy Roth, Christopher and Steven Ruby, and Shelley and Stephanie Martin. Roy is also survived by his sisters, Vivian (Wilfred Steinman) and Jean Roth; sister-in-law Beulah Ruby, and the Gerber family—Marion Gerber, Willard Gerber, Inez and Oliver Ramseyer, Ellen Leis, Lester and Nancy Yantzi, Howard and Ada Gerber, Audrey and Harold Bender and Carol and Irvin Wagler. He is predeceased by his brother, Henry, brothers-in-law, Wilfred Roth, Calvin Gerber, and Elton Leis, and sisters-in-law Helen Yantzi and Gladys Gerber. He drove transport truck for C &amp; H and Inter-City Truck Lines for 37 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Roy with his family at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Roy’s life and faith will be held at First Mennonite Church, 800 King St. E. Kitchener on Monday, November 6, 2006 at 2 p.m. with Pastors Gary Knarr and Catherine Hunsberger officiating. Interment in First Mennonite Cemetery will be followed by a reception in the fellowship hall of the church. A special thank you to all the staff at Pinehaven Nursing Home for the compassionate and loving care they gave Roy.
