<h1>Wilbert McCormick</h1> 1931 – 2007 Wil passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital on Saturday, November 17, 2007. Loving husband for 56 years to Sophie (Michalek). Dear father of Sandra (Michael Delisle) of Guelph, Diane (Ian Hornsby) of Elora, Carol Martin (Fernie) of Kamloops, B.C., Michael (Debbie Deschamps) of Guelph, Paul (Patti) of Guelph, Joan (Andre Grzegorczyk) of Waterloo. Proud Granddad and Pops to Amy (Andrew Kirwin), Emily (Paul Devoe), and Gregory Delisle, Krystal and Whitney Martin, Christopher, Jennifer and Michelle McCormick, and Ian and Neil Grzegorczyk. Dear brother of Adele Helm, Kathleen, Patricia George, Ronald, Patrick, and Joan McConnel. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Hattie McCormick; brother, Edward and sisters, Eleanor, Audrey, Francis and Mary. Also survived by 44 nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend to Clayton Joyce (deceased) and Louie and Esperanca Joaquim (wonderful neighbours). Wil will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered. Wil was a lifelong resident of K-W and retired from Budd Canada Inc. Wil was devoted to his family and lovingly created treasured wood crafts for all. He enjoyed his visits to the family cottage, Sophie’s Choice, on Lake Huron. Friends are invited to share their memories of Wil with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate and remember Wil’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. A reception will follow the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. A special thank you to the exceptional nurses and respirologists of the 6th floor at St. Mary’s Hospital for their excellent care and compassion.
