<h1>Betty Wendell</h1> 1924 – 2006 Passed away at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife for 59 years of the late Roy Walter Wendell; loving mother of Donald Wendell and Janice Meier and her husband Harold; cherished grandma of Lindsay and Jeff Wells, Russell McMahen, and Alana McMahen. Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Helen Wilkie; and her nephews, Alan, Brian, Wayne, and Gary Wilkie and their families. Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Nora Russel. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Sunshine Centre-Luther Village On the Park, and particularly the staff at Three Bridges, Sunnyside Home for their care and compassion. Friends are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family during memorial visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Monday, November 20, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, November 21, from 1-1:45 p.m., in the Church Parlor, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 322 East Ave. Kitchener, followed by the memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life and faith, at 2 p.m., the Revs. Roland Syens and Robert Bugbee officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Private family interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
