<h1>Phyllis Berg</h1> “OMA” 1916 – 2008 Passed away peacefully, at home, on Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the age of 92 years. Oma is survived by her children, Paul (Karen) Berg, Patrick Berg, Phillip (Doreen) Berg, and Penny Kikuchi, and her grandchildren, Jonathan (Joanne), Kevin (April), Cynthia (Scott), Carolynn (Simon), Melanie, Jeff (Anna), Pam (Ryan) as well as numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, all her siblings, her husband Paul, daughter Pamela, son and daughter-in-law Peter and Cherlé Berg and son-in-law Kiyoshi Kikuchi. Oma was a long time member of the Church of the Holy Saviour, Waterloo. Her family will always remember her love of being a mother, her unconditional acceptance of all people, her strong sense of faith and being Oma to all. The funeral service to celebrate Oma’s life and faith will be held at Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen Street East, Waterloo, on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 11a.m followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. Cremation will have taken place and a private family interment will be held at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Marie, Collette and Trish of Care Partners, Brenda and Nadine of ParaMed, Pam of PACE, Dr. Grant and to Nancy Mounsey for their compassionate and continual care for Oma.
