1948 - 2007
Peter Hartley of Waterloo, owner and operator of United Painting and Decorating, passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, November 16, 2007 at the age of 58.
Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia (nee Schoenfeld). Loving dad popsy to Luke Hartley (Nina Obrecht) of Toronto and Katie Hartley (John Logel) of St. Clements. Survived by his sister, Winn Bennett of Chesterfield, England, niece Denise Caddick, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, all of England. Dear son-in-law of Jean Schoenfeld of Cambridge, brother-in-law to Doris and Ulf Brodin and Doug and Lorraine Schoenfeld, all of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews of Cambridge and Kelowna, BC.
Predeceased his parents, Winnifred and Percy Hartley, father-in-law Neill Schoenfeld, and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Carol and Jamie Anderson.
Peter enjoyed life especially spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time at the trailer.
Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Peter during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo, on Wednesday, November 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service to celebrate Peters life will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 445 Anndale Rd., Waterloo, on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at 11 am with Rev. James Brown officiating. Reception will follow at the church.
