Mac died suddenly, at his home of 41 years, in his 78th year.
Mac was a gentle, loving and proud father to daughters Julie Torrance-Perks and Beverly Roorda and sons-in-law John Torrance-Perks and Darren Roorda. Grandfather of Jamie and James Torrance-Perks and Bethany, Emma and Gracie Roorda, who brought him much joy. He deeply missed his loving wife, Nancy, who passed away with cancer in 1990. Beloved brother to Betty Kissner and her husband Del. Predeceased by his brother, Gordon Torrance.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Mac with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. The service to celebrate Macs life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chip Bender and Pastor Darren Roorda officiating. A private family interment will take place Wednesday morning at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be arranged through the funeral home 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com
In living memory of Mac, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.
