<h1>Gladys Bambrick</h1> (nee Coombs) 1913 – 2008 Gladys was born June 8, 1913 and passed away, peacefully with family, on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Gladys was the loving wife of the late Richard Bambrick (2001) for 62 years. She will be fondly remembered by her daughter, Joan Henkel and her husband Bob of Waterloo and by her son, Kevin Bambrick and his wife Cathie of Collingwood. Gladys was predeceased in 1986 by her beloved eldest daughter, Mary Tuckwood, wife of Ken, formerly of Waterloo. Gladys was a cherished grandmother of Karen Falkenstern (Rich), Kelly Wildfang (Jeff), Sheryl Henkel-Gerber (Steve), Shelly Schenk (Rod), Shane Henkel (Shannon), Christine Granic (Ante), Craig Bambrick (Rhonda), Courtney Lahn, (Chris), all in Waterloo region, and Steve Tuckwood (Sabrina) of Vancouver, BC. Nana will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor, Josh, Michael, Jakob, Julie, Andrew, Emily, Allie, Mitchell, Jaime, Joel, Kayla, Aidan and the much anticipated Baby Lahn. She will be fondly remembered by sister-in-law Selina Coombs of Newfoundland and her many loving nieces and nephews in Canada and in the U.S.A. Gladys was predeceased by her parents, John and Alfreida Coombs, her sisters Mary, Ada, and Irene, and her brothers, Charles, Joseph, and Herbert. Gladys was employed at Towers in Waterloo until her retirement in 1978. The family wishes to thank Trinity Village Studios of Kitchener for their devoted care of Gladys over the last few years. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Gladys during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday, November 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 2:30 pm with Rev. James Brown officiating. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
