Passed away peacefully at the Freeport Health Centre of the Grand River Hospital on Thursday November 15, 2007 at the age of 82 years.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy in 2006. Loving father of Diane (Neil) and Lola. Verne will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Tony, Scott (Melinda), Kelly-Anne, Kimberlea, Allison, Jessica and Chelsea, step-grandchildren Shannon and Jessica as well as great-grandchildren Zachary, India, Caitlin, Brianna, Mitchell and Riley.
Verne will also be dearly missed by his cats Suzie and Bozo.
Predeceased by his sons Stephen and Phillip, 4 brothers and 1 sister and his dog Missy.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Verne with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday November 17, 2007 at 3 pm. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.
