<h1>Erwin Heimpel</h1> Passed away at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, November 12, 2010 in his 102nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Olive (nee Howe). Survived by his son, Gerry Heimpel and his wife Marlene of Waterloo; grandchildren, Kevin and Irene Heimpel, Kim and Rob Shilliday, Scott and Erin Heimpel, Sheri and George Drannen; and great-grandchildren, Amy, Jake, Taylor, Cooper, Matthew, Michael, Christina, and Jamie. He was the last surviving family member of his generation. Besides his wife, Erwin was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Latonia (nee Seip) Heimpel and brother Clayton Heimpel and his wife Doris. Erwin was retired from Superior Box Company in Kitchener after 43 years of service. He was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, November 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 22 Willow St., Waterloo on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Becky Klages officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church. Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
