MARGARET (Margie) ROSE SCHMITT
1949 2009
Passed on to a new life in Christ peacefully, surrounded with love at home in Elmira on November 12, 2009.
Born in Kitchener on December 26, 1949, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Frances Schmitt (Culliton). Survived by her brother Michael (Barbara) of Calgary; sisters Audrey Bunting (Bryan) of St.Catharines and Mary Braun (Ted) of Kitchener; nephews Michael, Dan and Bob Schmitt; nieces Maureen Mcgregor, Deborah Bunting, Jody Roechner, Cathy, Paul and Stephen Braun.
Predeceased by her brother Joseph, 1995.
Sincere thanks to Dr. Sandra Wismer and all the doctors, nurses and staff who cared for Margaret over the years. Special thanks to the loving dedicated staff at Reid Woods Group Home in Elmira where Margaret resided for the last four and a half years. Thanks also to the staff at David Fisher Residence where she resided for 30 years prior to her declining health.
Visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday, November 15, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers will be said at 8:15 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Francis of Assisi RC Church, 49 Blueridge Ave., Kitchener, on Monday November 16 at 10 a.m., the Rev. Joseph de Viveiros C.R. as Celebrant. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. Reception to follow at St. Francis Church.
