Dr. William J. Zinn of Waterloo and formerly of Hanover, Ontario passed away at his home after a lengthy illness on November 12, 2009 in his 86th year.
Beloved husband of the former Doris Knechtel. Dear father of John of Toronto and Margaret and her husband Wayne Button of Whitby, and grandfather of John and Brian. Survived by his sister-in-law Deloris Knechtel of London.
Predeceased by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. S.H. Zinn.
Bill practised dentistry in Hanover for 31 years. He was a past trustee of the Hanover District High School Board, Church elder of Grace United Church, member of the Hanover Legion and life member of the Hanover Kinsmen Club.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. Interment will take place at a later date in Hanover.
