Joan passed away at Sunnyside Home on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the age of 82 years.
Cherished and beloved wife of more than 61 years to James Hartnell. Mother of six children, Jennifer (Bill Frolick), John Hartnell (Marlene Beyer), Jane (Rod Gibson), Jeffrey Hartnell (Carla Petri), Jillian (Kevin McConnen), and Janess (Barry Hunt); eight granddaughters and seven grandsons, and one great-granddaughter.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Joan with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Friday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where parish prayers will be held at 8:45 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 173 Lourdes St. W. Waterloo on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Edward Sheridan as celebrant. Cremation to follow. Immediately following the mass, everyone is invited to the parish hall for refreshments.
