<h1>Barbara Krech</h1> (nee Ewasyke) With deep sadness, Barbara’s family announces her passing on Friday, November 10, 2006, at her home, in Waterloo. Barbara was born in Windsor, on January 11, 1943. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 43 years, Michael Krech. She was a loving and devoted mother of Lori Berg (Krech) and husband Martin and Michael Krech, and a doting grandmother to Emma Krech, Katie Berg and Alex Berg. Survived by her mother, Lettie Ewasyke (Karpiuk) and her loving sisters, Patricia Kominar (Ewasyke) and John Kominar, Georgina Morgan (Ewasyke) and Joe DeSilva. She was much loved for her knitting by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by her father Walter Ewasyke, her brother, Walter Ewasyke and sister-in-law, Doreen Ewasyke. Barbara was a retired teacher from the Waterloo Separate School Board and the K-W Separate School Board. She was a classroom teacher and a special needs teacher. Visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, November 12 from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, November 13 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with vigil prayers at 8:30 p.m., Monday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jerome’s University, Notre Dame Chapel, 290 Westmount Road North, Waterloo, with Father Jim Link, CR as celebrant. A reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
