Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Parkwood Mennonite Home, on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in his 76th year.
Beloved husband and soul mate, of Muriel Pearl Misch (nee Koch) for forty-three and one-half years. Survived by sisters-in-law; Mildred Snyder, Shirley Weber, Dorothy Ruggle and brother-in-law, Robert Ruggle. Also survived by nieces and nephews; Elizabeth Snyder, Susan Snyder, Philip Weber, Mark (Miriam) Weber and Robert (Lee-Anne) Ruggle; cousins, Elva Trussler, Margaret Mctaggart, William Muter, Isobel Wilken, Delores (Glenn) Baechler, Elaine Hill, Virginia (Peter) Schmidt. Fondly remembered by dear family friends, Margaret and Lisa Anguish.
Loved and only son of the late Aaron (1981) and Gertrude (1989) Misch (nee Arendt). Grandson of the late Rev. Maximillian Arendt. Predeceased by brothers-in-law; Howard Snyder and Roy Weber.
Eric retired from the scheduling department of Uniroyal-Goodrich, after thirty-five years of service. He served as church organist and choir director for forty-five years, which included twenty years at Historic St. Pauls Lutheran Church, Kitchener and fifteen years at St. Stephen Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kitchener.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Eric with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Sunday, November 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 10 11 a.m. The Funeral Service to celebrate Erics life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, November 6, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Roger E. Winger officiating. Reception will follow in the funeral homes Fireside Reception Room. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
