Obituary of Carberry Ward

<h1>Carberry Ward</h1> 1921 – 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Carbery Ward on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the age of 88 years. Carbery was predeceased by his parents Bill and Marie (nee Longmire) Ward, his first wife Alma Mohring, his second wife Henrietta Sims, and his sisters Marie Sproat and Mary Uhrig. He will be forever remembered by his three sons, Garry Ward and his wife Karen of Thorold ON, Wayne Ward and Bill Ward and his wife Angie all of Kitchener, his siblings Cal Ward and his wife Marjorie of Kitchener and Pat Engel and her husband John of Cranbrook ON, his grandchildren Bonnie, Bradley, Jaqueline, Steven, Shayne, Deborah, Tracy, Robert, Suzanne and Darren as well as several great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to “the girls” from the Bluebird apartments for their kindness and consideration during Carbery’s illness. Friends are invited to share their memories of Carbery with his family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13 at 1:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parkview Cemetery and a reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
