<h1>Isabel Plate</h1> 1923 – 2010 Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Lisaard House in Cambridge at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Frank, in 2006. Isabel will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Dianne Schwan (Tom), Maxine Smith, and Lorrie Miller (nee Plate) and by her son, Richard Smith (Norma), her son-in-law, Scott Miller, her 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, John Coghlin (Helen) and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Agnes McIntosh and by her brother, Norman Coghlin. Isabel was born in Atwood, Ontario to Elgin and Blanche Coghlin. She grew up in a farming community and was always proud of her heritage. She was a lifelong member of Trinity United Church in Kitchener and was employed with J.M. Schneider for 31 years. Friends are invited to share their memories of Isabel with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Sunday, May 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Jack Paleczny officiating. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Lisaard House for their love and care to our mom during her stay there.
