<h1>Elizabeth Clair</h1> ELIZABETH “BETTY” CLAIR 1916 – 2009 Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre, on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years Clarence “Bud” Clair. She is the loving mother of Cameron and his wife Alice Clair, Joan and her husband Michael Wolf, Marilyn and her husband George Milligan and Jim and his wife Liz Clair. Proud and loving grandmother of Scott (Janice) Clair, Jeff (Shelley) Clair, Rod (Denise) Wolf, Brent (Amy) Wolf, Tom Milligan, Bonnie (Todd) Shore, Ryan Clair (Nadine Phillips), Trevor Clair (Roxi Furtunescu) and great-grandmother to Cassandra and Jessica Clair, Karly and Wesley Clair, Abigail and Valerie Wolf, Jack and Blake Wolf, Skylar and Jillian Shore. Betty was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Henry, John, Allan, David, Aaron, Pricilla, Adelaide and Katie Thaler. Betty was born on the family farm in Breslau on August 31, 1916 to the late William and Catherine (nee Schaefer) Thaler. She was the pillar of her family as she stayed home to raise her children. One of the many joys of her life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a long time member and elder of Emmanuel United Church, Waterloo. Friends and relatives are invited to share their memories of Betty with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday May 8, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Bruce Sweet of Emmanuel United Church officiating. Interment at Parkview Cemetery will follow a reception at the funeral home.
