1918-2007
Passed away at St. Marys General Hospital on Saturday, May 5, 2007, in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of the late Caroline (Garbolinski); loved father of Roderick Dubecki and his wife Susan, Craig Dubecki, and Shirley and her husband Ronnie Hall; loving grandfather of Deborah and her husband Robert, Tracy and her husband Bruno, and Blair, Maria, Andrea, Aiden, and Cameron; dear great-grandfather of Brendan, Meghan, Colton, and Cruz.
Peter was predeceased by his parents Michael and Anastasia (Shabatura) Dubecki, a daughter, Sylvia, a granddaughter, Kyla, and by five brothers and five sisters.
Peter was a member of First United Church, Waterloo, served in the Royal Canadian Army as a Battery Quartermaster Sergeant, and was a 40 year employee of Uniroyal Tire.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Peter with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Peters life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hawley officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo followed by a reception in the Historic Kuntz House of the funeral home.
