1945-2007
After a prolonged battle with cancer, Paul died at his residence, on Saturday, May 5, 2007, surrounded by the love and support of his family. He was 62.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his partner Beverley Poole; children Todd Richber (Joan) of Kitchener, Tracy Duckett (Dalton) of Mississauga and Tyler Richber (Nicole Williams) of Sweden; grandchildren Darnell, Drayton, Makaila and Kieran and step-daughters Debbie Hill and Stacy Tuin. Dear brother of Carol Steinmann, David Richber (Joann), Jean Krimme (Gunter), Ruth Meyer (Tony), Judith Phillips, Lois Sallans (Wallace), Mark Richber and Miriam Weber (Mark). Paul will also be remembered by his former wife Judy. He was predeceased by his parents June (Hirons) and Carl Richber; brother Peter Richber; brother-in-law Ross Steinmann and niece Heather VanHolst.
Paul was a faithful 44 year employee of Norampac (formerly Domtar). He was an avid golfer at the Stratford Golf and Country Club.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Paul with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 3 pm with Randy Hoffman officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
Following the service in the chapel, friends and relatives are invited to the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home for refreshments and a time to visit with the family.
