Passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Westmount Nursing Home, age 87 years.
Mrs. Hilson was a member of St. Francis of Assisi RC Church and will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.
Loving wife of Glen Hilson who passed away in April, 2003.
Dear mother of Mark of Toronto; will be sadly missed by her special grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Elizabeth.
She had a life-long career in finance and accounting having worked at Greb Industries and Conestogo College. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, bridge and travelling, but loved being with her family and playing with her grandchildren the most.
The Hilson family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, May 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers at 8:45 p.m. The mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 49 Blueridge Ave., Kitchener with a reception to follow. Rev. Joseph de Viveiros, CR will be the presiding celebrant. Cremation to follow.
