Judy Kreischer

1963 2009
Judy died peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday, May 31, 2009. She was 45 years old. She fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Judy was the beloved wife of Herb and devoted and loving mother to her only child, Olivia. She will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Hana and Milo Hofrichter of Kitchener; sister, Dagmar and husband Terry Kraft of Kitchener; parents-in-law, Anna and Michael Kreischer of Kitchener; sister-in-law, Elfrieda and husband Peter Walesch of Waterloo and her very special nieces, Amanda and Stephanie Kraft and Tanya Walesch.
Judy was born in Jablonec nad/Nisou of the Czech Republic and came to Kitchener with her family at the age of 5. She worked as a flight attendant for World Ways, Canadian Airlines and Air Canada. Most recently she was employed with Sears Travel. She loved to travel and enjoyed her many trips to Texas to visit her loyal friend Aniko. Judy had a passion for watching her sweet Olivia dance and perform. Her Olivia was her life. We would like to thank all the nurses at Grand River Hospital and Freeport Health Centre for their special care of Judy. Also special thanks are extended to Dr. Ward for her gentle and compassionate ways. To our extended families, friends and neighbours for your continued support, love and kind words during this very difficult time.
Friends are invited to share memories of Judy with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev.
