<h1>Catherine (Kay) Steffler</h1> 1925 - 2008 Passed away, suddenly at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday May 3, 2008, at the age of 83. Cherished wife of Lloyd for almost 60 years. Loving mother of Patti Leis and her husband Bill, Bob Steffler and his wife Sue and also her predeceased son, Brian in 1975. Beloved grandmother of Jeremy, Ian, Eric Steffler and Julie Bundscho and her husband Steve. Proud great-grandmother of Kyla. Sadly missed by her sisters and brothers Lorraine (Al) Goebel, Claude (Florence), Harold (Dorothy), Clarence (Bernice) Melvin (Mary), Jerome (Shirley), William (Blanche) and Calvin (Eileen) Moser, Gloria Wyszynski and Helen (Martin) Kreutzer; Lloyd’s Family Thelma Moser, Earl (Pauline) Steffler, Bill (Kathy) Steffler, Betty (Gary) Grobe and Eva Voisin; sisters-in-law Anne Knight and Florence Moser; brother-in-law Ted Killingback; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her parents Ida and Robert Moser and parents-in-law Herbert and Anne Steffler; siblings, Lucy Stockie, Gilbert, Elmer and Howard Moser; and in-laws Leo and Lorraine Steffler, Elmer Voison, Evelyn Moser, Joe Wyszynski, Melinda Moser and John Stockie. Catherine was an active founding member of St Michael’s R.C. Church and devoted member of the CWL. Friends are invited to share their memories of Catherine with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday May 5, and Tuesday May 6, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Parish Prayers will be said Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. Family will arrive at 9:00 a.m. for morning prayers on Wednesday May 7, 2008 at the funeral home followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s R.C. Church, 240 Hemlock Street, Waterloo, with the Rev. James Malone as celebrant. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Following the committal everyone is invited to join the family in the church Parish Hall for refreshments and a time to visit. Catherine’s family wishes to extend thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in the ER of K-W Hospital and Magda and Richard and the nurses on 5A for their compassion and comfort shown to Catherine during her short stay with them.
