1944 - 2010
Lynn passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 29, 2010 at Freeport Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Lynn was predeceased by her son Andrew in 2003 and her parents John & Gwenyth Galbraith of Kingston. Lynn was a graduate of The Hotel Dieu School of Nursing in Kingston.
Lynn will be remembered by her friends as an avid quilter, gardener and reader. Her gentle nature along with her devotion to her friends and family will be remembered by all who knew her.
Lynn will be greatly missed by Tom, her loving husband of 41 years, as well as her sons Matthew & Daniel, daughter-in-law Leanna, along with grandchildren Devin, Owen and Brodie, all of Waterloo. Lynn will also be sadly missed by her extended family, mother-in-law Edith Dunlop of Markdale along with Bill Dunlop of Markdale, Andy and Sherry Dunlop of Markdale, Martha Dunlop and Jim Thorndycraft of Toronto and Mary & John Nisavic of Waterloo as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family gives its thanks to Dr. John Stewart and Dr. Ron Pace as well as the doctors and nurses of Grand River Hospital sixth north. Special thanks to nurses and Dr. Donna Ward of UT 3 at Freeport Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. South in Waterloo. Interment to take place Saturday, June 5th in Markdale Cemetery.
