<h1>Wellington "Duke" Hieronimus</h1> 1921 – 2007 Passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre, Waterloo on Monday, May 28, 2007 in his 86th year. Loved father of Donald Hieronimus. Stepfather of Norene Skidgmore. Survived by grandchildren, April and Daniel, and step-granddaughter Krystal. Dear brother of Clarence (Adeline) Hieronimus of Kitchener. Also remembered by nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Emma and Samuel Hieronimus; longtime friend and partner, Lillian Quehl; and his first wife Norma (Bitschy) Hieronimus; brothers, Charlie (Annie) and Harvey; sisters, Clarissa (August) Elg, Agnes (John) Schneider and Gertrude (Wesley) Kuntz; stepdaughter, Elaine Iza; and a grandson in infancy. Duke was a retired City of Kitchener employee. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 12:30- 1:30 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Duke’s life and faith will take place following the visitation, in the chapel of the funeral home, at 1:30 p.m., the Rev. Nancy Kelly officiating. Interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau. Reception to follow interment in the Fireside Room of the funeral home.
