<h1>Naomi Smith</h1> 1911 - 2009 Passed away peacefully and comfortably, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener, on Sunday, May 24 2009, in her 98th year. Lovingly remembered by her son, Douglas Smith Jr. (Donna). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Scott Smith (Liz), Jennifer Smith (Greg), and Brock Smith (Kelly), also by her great-grandchildren, Travis Smith (Becky), Sarah Smith (Greg), Tyler Smith (Erin), Megan Anderson, Erin Anderson; great-great-grandchild, Brynn Smith; niece, Myrna Schneider (Warren); nephew, Doug “Bud” Smith (Lily); step-grandchildren Stephanie McCannell (Paul), Shean Fitzpatrick (Lenita); and step-great-grandchildren, Michael and Lauren McCannell, and Ava Fitzpatrick. Predeceased by her husband, Douglas Smith Sr. (1973); infant son, Michael Emerson Smith; and sisters, Leta Walker and Margarete Parker. She will be deeply missed by her dear friends, Joan Radke, Patrise Smith, Barbara Robb, and Mike Stankowitsch. Friends are invited to share their memories of Naomi with her family during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, May 28, 2009 from 11 am to 1 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m . Following the service, friends are invited to join the family for a reception and a time to visit.
