<h1>Douglas Godkin</h1> Jack died peacefully at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Friday, May 23, 2008, at the age of 87. Predeceased by his wife Mary (1988). Lovingly remembered by daughter Ann (Dave) and son John (Cathy), granddaughters Danielle and Jacquie Kelton, Claire, Erin and Beth Godkin, his sister June Burnett (Robert) and sister-in-law Ann Wood of California. B. Comm. (Queens) (1942) and M.B.A. (Harvard) (1948) . Served with 14th Field Regiment R.C.A. (North West Europe 1942 – 1945). Jack was a longterm employee of the Ford Motor Company (Oakville). He lived most of his life in Mississauga, relocating to Waterloo for the past five years. Thanks to Dr. Bob Stevens, Dr. John Sehl, the staff of the Terrace on the Square and 6th floor K-W Hospital nurses for their excellent care of Jack. At Jack’s request, a private family service will be held. Following cremation, interment will be with Mary at Springcreek Cemetery, Mississauga.
