Obituary of James Morrison

<h1>James Morrison</h1> Sadly we announce that Jim passed away on Saturday May 22, 2010. Son of the late Rev. William Albert and Alma Elizabeth (Clipsham) Morrison. Dearly loved husband of the late Evelyn Ruthanne (Watson) Morrison. Jim is survived by his five children: Charlotte and Eric Penrose of Kitchener, Calvin and Norah Morrison of Bracebridge, Cathryn and Darcy Rodney of Bracebridge, Celia and Bruce Thomson of Brampton, Charles (Courtney) Morrison and Jennifer Morrison of Vancouver and his 10 grandchildren: Amber and Matt Fitzgerald, James, Ruthanne and Simon Penrose, Sydney and Shelby Morrison, Andrew and Patrick Thomson, Evan and Mason Rodney, and by his great-grandson: Jonah Fitzgerald. Throughout his life, Jim shared his love of music as an organist, choir master, band member and teacher…he will be missed. We would like to thank the staff and care givers at Doon Village Retirement Residence, Victoria Place Retirement Residence, Grand River Hospital Emergency Department and St. Mary’s Hospital and Emergency Department, all of Kitchener. Cremation has taken place. The family welcomes all friends to a Memorial Service to be held on Saturday June 12, 2010 at Trinity United Church, Gravenhurst at 3:30 pm. Reception and burial to follow.
