<h1>Michael Hooke</h1> 1953 - 2010 Passed away peacefully, at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at age 56. Devoted husband of Cindy; loving father of Amber; dear son-in-law of David and Marjorie Lake; brother-in-law of Tony and Jane, Rob and Carolann, and Michael and Sandra; uncle of Adrienne and Colin; a nephew of Fred Cromie, and a cousin of Carol Payne. He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Mabel and a brother, Alan. Michael and his family came to Canada from Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1973. He was first employed at Marslands, then Raytheon, but his most memorable position was superintendent for the last 18 years. He was loved and respected for his hard work, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond for all the tenants. Visitation will be held at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. A light lunch will follow.
