<h1>Donald MacAlpine</h1> 1932 – 2010 Don passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 after a brief battle following a stroke. Beloved husband of Diane. Cherished father of Lynn Leddy and Lee Anne MacAlpine. Loving Grandpa to Justin Robinson. Dear brother of Mary Lou. He will be sadly missed by stepchildren Michael (Jackie) and Michelle Moore. Remembered by June MacAlpine. Don was raised in Tilbury. The work he enjoyed the most was his 30 years in the Cable TV business in Chatham, London and Kitchener. Don loved golf, curling, a good game of bridge and control of the remote. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and love of life. The memorial service to celebrate Don’s life will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, with visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room. Honouring Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
