At Columbia Forest Long Term Care Centre, Waterloo, on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of the late Bernard Ben (April 30, 2007) to whom she was married for 63 years. They would have celebrated their 64th anniversary on May 22. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Carole and her husband David Aldworth, Brian Krulicki and his wife Jeannie, Linda and her husband Bob Wanka, Gary Krulicki, all of Waterloo and Debbie Krulicki of Toronto. Her memory will be fondly cherished by grandchildren, Christopher Aldworth and his wife Alison Hargreaves, Randy Aldworth and his wife Laura, Lisa Aldworth and her fiance Rob Hamilton, Michael Aldworth, Jamie Aldworth, Trevor Krulicki, Leah and her husband Scott Clarke, Marcus and Katelyn Wanka, Justin and Marisa Krulicki and great-grandchildren Rachel and Eleanor Aldworth. She is survived by her sisters and brothers, Mary Wolek, Jean Walker, Ted Solomon and Carl Solomon and their families. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Josephine and Lawrence Solomon, and her brothers Joe, Stan, and John Solomon.
Helen was an active member of St. Louis RC Church of Waterloo and was involved in the CWL where she was responsible for organizing funeral luncheons for the Parish Community for many years. She took great pride in her skills as a cake decorator and could be counted on to provide a creative masterpiece for every family occasion.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, today (Friday) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis RC Church, 53 Allen Street East, Waterloo on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. Rev. Ray Reitzel C.R. officiating. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Following the internment, a reception will take place in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
