1927 - 2010
Passed away at St. Marys General Hospital on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the age of 83 years.
Loving husband of Patricia (nee Scott) for 63 years. Dear father of Paul and his wife Lorraine, Peter and his wife Sandy, Patti Courvoisier and her husband Jim, and Maureen Currie and her husband Marshal.
Sadly missed by his 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 sisters.
Predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
George was a dedicated 30 year sales representative, including a position as Ontario Sales Manager for Kaufman Footwear of Kitchener. Throughout his life and after retirement George enjoyed his passion for oil painting, golfing and watching his children and grandchildren play sports.
Friends are invited to share their memories of George with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, May 19 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, May 20 at 1:30 pm. Following the service everyone is invited to a reception at the Funeral Home.
Honoring Georges personal wishes cremation will take place.
