<h1>Verna Schul</h1> 1922-2009 Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Chateau Gardens in Elmira, age 87 years. Beloved wife for 67 years of Herman Schul of Elmira; dear mother of Lyla Wettlaufer and her husband Jim of Petersburg, Dennis Schul and his wife Janice of Ethel and Marlene Henrich of Ayr. Will be sadly missed by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also survived by a sister-in-law Marjorie Perschbacher of Stratford. Predeceased by a sister Inez Heinmiller, brothers Earl and Ivan, sister-in-law Evelyn and brother-in-law Laverne. Mrs. Schul’s family will receive friends at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. The service to celebrate Mrs. Schul’s life and faith will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Harvey Fretz officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Friends and relatives are invited to a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home following the committal service.
