Passed away suddenly, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, May 16, 2009, at age 82.
Lloyd was a founding and active member of St. Michaels Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He retired as a supervisor from Canada Post. Formerly, he was on the executive of the Waterloo Siskins and continued to enjoy the games as a lifetime ticket holder.
Beloved husband of the late Catherine (Kay) Moser; loved father of Patti and Bill Leis, Bob and Sue Steffler and a predeceased son, Brian (1975). Loving grandfather of Jeremy, Ian, and Eric Steffler, and Julie and Steve Bundscho; cherished great-grandfather of Kyla; dear brother of Thelma Moser, Eva Voisin, Earl and Pauline Steffler, Bill and Kathy Steffler, and Betty and Gary Grobe.
Predeceased by a brother, Leo and his wife Lorraine, and brothers-in-law, Elmer Moser and Elmer Voisin.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Lloyd with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 8:45 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 21 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michaels RC Church, 240 Hemlock St. (at University Avenue) with Rev. Cornelius J. OMahony as Celebrant. Interment in Parkview Cemetery will be followed by a reception held in the Parish Hall.
