<h1>Wayne Pacey</h1> 1946-2009 With heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved husband, father and friend on May 12, 2009, 4 days shy of his 63rd birthday. In typical Wayne style, he battled ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) with grace, courage and dignity till the end. Wayne will be remembered with much love by his wife, best friend and soul mate of almost 37 years, Sandy; his children who he loved and was ever so proud of, Cass, Ryan (Brigitte) and Krysti (Danny) and 4 wonderful grandchildren, Trevor and Jaime Armstrong, Toni Nelson and Pacey O’Kelly who always put a smile on his face and in his heart. Also left to mourn his loss are his mother, Grace; his sister, Frances Cardwell and brothers, Malcolm and Philip; his mother-in-law, Lorraine Price; many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Predeceased by his father Herbert (1978); brothers-in-law, George Cardwell (1977) and Robert Price (1980). Friends are invited to share their memories of Wayne during visitation at the Erb &amp; Good Family Funeral Home 171 King St. S., Waterloo this evening (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Wayne’s life will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Allan Rudy-Froese officiating. Interment will follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Following the interment family and friends are invited to a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.
